If you want to be 100% sure of secure and controlled site access, the EA Defender full height turnstile is the ideal choice. The Defender turnstile is designed for secure environments where access needs to be tightly controlled. Flexible access control options

Authorised access can be managed through a variety of control methods. These include RFID card readers or fobs, biometric devices, remote control systems or manual operation. EA Group can supply and integrate all of these options to suit your setup needs.

Built for durability and high usage

Built with a sturdy and durable design, the Defender turnstile is made to deliver uninterrupted operation. In free access mode, it can handle up to 20 pedestrians per minute, ensuring efficient flow with strong security.

The full height rotor turnstile features a galvanised finish with additional powder coating for long lasting protection. It also includes stainless steel rods which reduce wear over time and make cleaning it simple.

Optional features for added flexibility

For added flexibility, the Defender turnstile offers a range of optional features. These include manual unlocking in the event of power loss, adjustable unlocking mechanisms and free rotation when a fire alarm signal is received.

The system can be fitted with a microprocessor-controlled drive unit that integrates with any standard access control system, whether that is a push button, switch, wireless device, NFC card reader, keypad, tag or biometric solution.

Long range remote radio control is also available, making it perfect for larger sites such as warehouses or perimeter fencing where cabling might not be practical.

To retain security during power outages, optional 24V backup batteries are available, as well as solar power solutions.

An optional protective canopy can also be installed to shield the turnstile from harsh weather conditions such as heavy rain, which also makes it more resistant to climbing.
